Nobody reads me

You know, it's funny. I'm slowly finding out that poets kinda get the shaft here on dA. I mean, I've only write a few times since I've been on here, but I haven't received a single review...is it a comment on my poetry? Do people simple not like it? do they read it and push it aside, or are they simply not reading it? I even wrote a poemab out how I want people to read and comment on my poetry. I mean I want people to say good things about it, but at this point I just want any type of comment even negative! I'm dying here! I mean I've commented on so much on here! I don't know, maybe I'm ranting here...oh well, thanks for reading this.

Hey dont worry poets do get lots of recognition. If you get a chance visit #AfterTranquility I met some lovely people there many who are poets and get reviews. In order to get reviews on here you have to meet and talk to lots of people. If you sit waiting for them to come to you then you will only get the odd review. At least thats what I found out coz in the beginning I got no reviews on any of my work! So good luck and I'll take a look at your work if it helps. :)

Dude, I know how you feel. I have written a lot of poetry. I used to put it on here but like yours, I got nothing. No comments, no reviews. So I gave up on DA poetry. I just stick to poetry.com now. They've published 8 of my poems so far. One of them they published twice. Anyhow, I just use DA for my visual artwork now.

Yup. That happened to me when I first joined, but I didn't give up and I'm pretty happy now. Judging from your work, I think things will pick up.
